Not the most brilliant painting in the world...
This is my first oil painting. I was trying to mimic Jenny Saville's style for a college project. I tried to paint her picture "Stare", but it didn't turn out quite the way I had wanted.
Oils are hard to use. I messed up the nose and mouth because as soon as I made the errors it was difficult to change. It also took 2 weeks to dry properly (im not joking!!).
However, FULL VIEW please. The thing Im happy with is the brush strokes. They are the most interesting part of the painting.
